About Us
The Boar & Badger was born out of a new-found passion for wet shaving.
“After many years of struggling with skin irritation and ingrown hairs, I finally tried an old-school razor as a last resort. Within a week I could see a huge difference in my skin.
With each subsequent shave, the irritation slowly disappeared and I thus realised that it was those expensive multi-blade cartridges I had been using which were the cause of the problem.
I did the research and ordered a bunch of shaving soaps and different razor blade samples online and that’s when I discovered the second great thing about wet shaving – the cost saving! Not to mention the great variety of new scents which many artisanal soap makers are putting into their soaps.
Shaving quickly became a fun and almost therapeutic experience leaving me a stack of extra money to try new and exciting products.
